Voting locations UChicago - w times

Our union-recognition election will be held at the UChicago campus in Hyde Park on October 17 – 18, 2017. According to NLRB regulations, there will be no absentee ballots. There are four voting locations on campus and the polls will be open from 9 AM – 9 PM on both days. Voters are designated a voting location based on the first letter of their surname:

Last Name A-E
Regenstein Library Room A-11
1100 E. 57th St., Chicago, IL 60637

Last Name F-K
Hinds Laboratory 176
5734 S. Ellis Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637

Last Name L-R

1020 E. 58th St., Chicago, IL 60637

Last Name S-Z

Voters might be asked for ID to confirm their identity at their designated polling location; state-issued ID OR University of Chicago student ID will be acceptable forms of identification. All voters are free to vote at any of the above four polling locations; however, voters who choose to vote at another location than their designated location will be permitted to vote, but their ballot will be subject to challenge to ensure no duplicate voting. Challenged votes will only be counted if they need to be (i.e., if there are enough challenge ballots to potentially alter the outcome of regular, non-challenge ballots). To avoid having your ballot be challenged, please make plans to vote at your designated location on October 17 and 18.
